ABOUT US

Welcome to solmirelian.com. We are a small online shop for people who would rather spend their weekend outside than on the sofa. Whether you are packing for a few nights under canvas, a long day on the trails or a quiet morning at the lake with a fishing rod, we want to help you find gear that simply works when you need it.

OUR STORY

solmirelian.com is based in Plankenfels, a small village in the Franconian Switzerland region of Bavaria. If you have never been here, picture green valleys, rocky outcrops, winding rivers and more hiking paths than you could walk in a lifetime. Growing up and living in a place like this, being outdoors is just part of everyday life.

The business behind the shop was founded in January 2022. In the beginning our focus was on Damascus steel knives, something we still have a real soft spot for. A good knife is one of the first things you reach for at a campsite, and working with knives brought us into contact with a lot of campers, anglers and hikers. Again and again we heard the same thing: people wanted reliable outdoor equipment without having to search through endless shops full of gear that looks good in photos but falls apart after the first trip.

So we started to widen our range. Step by step we added the practical things we use ourselves on our own trips around the Franconian Switzerland and beyond, and that is how solmirelian.com came to be.

WHAT YOU WILL FIND HERE

Our shop is all about useful essentials for camping, hiking, fishing and weekend adventures. You will find practical outdoor gear and accessories that make life on the road and in nature a little easier, from the small helpers you will be glad you packed to the equipment that forms the base of a good trip.

We are not trying to sell you everything. We would rather offer a carefully chosen selection of products that make sense, are easy to use and hold up to real outdoor conditions.

WHO WE ARE FOR

solmirelian.com is for outdoor enthusiasts, travelers and nature lovers of all kinds. Maybe you are an experienced camper who knows exactly what you need. Maybe you are planning your very first night in a tent. Either way, you are welcome here, and if you are unsure about something, just get in touch with us. We are always happy to help.

OUR PROMISE

We are a small team, and we take every order personally. Behind solmirelian.com there are no anonymous call centres, just people who love being outside and want you to have a great time out there too.

Thank you for stopping by. We hope to see you out on the trail.
